greater things

This was me. Four years ago. I was seventeen.

I toured Roosevelt, Northwester, Loyola and

Columbia.

Now I often walk past that Wabash parking lot.

Today I still wear the same clothes. And I am

graduating.

Parents and grandparents are here. And I plan

to wear the same dress I wore under my high

school graduation gown. I like bookends.
