A Monday

I am so so so glad I did this. I've always wanted to document my days, in order to share with my family. And also because life moves fast, yo. This was a very typical Monday, ordered and serendipitous. I loved it.

How my desk normally looks by 8:30 am on Mondays. In the throws of Bible, emails, texting, and sadly at the bottom of my coffee.

My fashion (if that's what we shall call it) was inspired by the Dutch.

Then a few hours of fund raising. I started early at the Starbucks across the street from the church (hello gift card I forgot about!) and met with my co-workers later.

Unfortunately lunch was an afterthought today. I had to buy it out.

Then came time for our marathon of meetings on Monday nights. Notice the darling faces of our students below.

I'd usually be home by 10 pm Mondays, but ever so joyously I ran into friends on my walk home from work! It took a few second of awkward staring, but I soon recognized these co-workers and joined them. It means a lot to me to run into friends on the street, especially in a big city. We had such a nice time.

  1. I really enjoy what's going on with your hair in that photo. I can never accomplish anything more complex than a bun with mine...
